Corruption Kills

Alexandr Vladimirov
Many think of corruption as of something unavoidable. But in order to overthrow corruption, we have to think of it as of something alien. As of a part of some (dark) past. This is why in my work a wallet is associated with a pack of cigarettes. Every smoker should know that smoking kills. Every person who has assets should know that corruption kills. It kills identity. It kills dignity. It often kills literally. Any act of corruption should be punished by jail. The snow on the background symbolizes aloofness, lifelessness and futility of the way of corruption. But a person can choose his or her way. Either be human - outside the bars, outside the cold, outside the degradation - or plunge into the dark of self-destruction. Corruption is dark. It is the way nowhere.
